Congratulations on starting to be honest with yourself. No one can make you change except yourself. A million people could tell you that you are worth the effort to make a change, but we can't make you believe that you are. I would suggest some counseling with a proffesional. Not to lose weight - but to deal with your self esteem issues. Good luck.

You would probably feel better if you told her and were honest about it. Even if it ruined your friendship, at least you would have told her. On the other side, if she doesn't know about it and you are sure her husband doesn't sleep around on her, then it may be better not to tell her. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss. Only you can make that decision for yourself, it's a tough spot to be in. I think you learned your lesson though on what not to do, right?
