You're not alone. I've been a "recovered" cutter for a couple of months now, but I still sleep with a knife in my pillowcase. Just in case. -

Wow. My insides hurt for you! I've dealt with depression for years and years. I've never cut myself.. I've cried, drank, taken antidepressives, fought, screamed, .. so many other responses.. sometimes I;m just numb. It kind of depends on the depth and the amount of time it's spent setting in ... you sound so young and innocent. I pray that you seek some sort of medical help. There are medicines that can make the pain less. You do not have to suffer through the dark alone or feel ashamed of it... there are so many more people dealing with it than anyone ever thought.... with love, C -

I am so sorry. Have you sought help. Have you tried alternative ways of dealing with anxiety? It seems your are in denial and have tried to quite cutting cold turkey. Your story brought tears to my eyes.
