I am in a similar situation. Well kind of. My father wasnt present for my graduation nor was he able to see his first grandchild born but not because hes in the war but I have never really had any contact with him. Were both in the same situation but God Bless You and your family and I hope that your father will come back home to you and your family soon. -

My husband has been deployed 4 times already, 2 of those times I was pregnant. I understand the feelings you have for your fathers absence during important times in your life. Just imagine how he feels.
